Trenton Community

Trenton serves as the Grundy County seat. Trenton is the largest community in the county with a population of just over 6,000. Trenton was originally settled in 1834 in an area called the “Green Hills”. Just to the west of the community you will find the Thompson River, one of the largest rivers in North Missouri. On the east side you will find Trenton Lake, which provides plenty of water for the city, county, area businesses and other communities.

Community Lifestyle

Crowder State Park is located just west of Trenton. The park includes 1,912 acres of mostly-forested land and offers several activities for visitors including camping, hiking, fishing, biking and more. The park has a large lake, cabins, a campground, and more.

Trenton also offers a movie theater, two outdoor skateboarding parks, and an Aquatic Park which is located on the north side of the city.

Health Care

Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton delivers high-quality health care to Grundy County, Missouri, and the surrounding communities. Founded in 1903, Wright Memorial Hospital opened a new, state-of-the-art facility in 2011. This facility offers numerous health care services for the people in this region. Learn more.

Trenton Lake

Trenton Lake is located on the east side of the city. It is surrounded by many homes and offers a great place for boating, fishing, and swimming. To the west of the city is the Thompson River, which is the main water source for Trenton.

Trenton Aquatic Center

People for all ages can enjoy fun in the sun. Located within Moberly Park TFAC and is open all summer long.

Riverside Country Club

Riverside Country Club is an exciting 9-hole regulation course located in Trenton, MO. From the longest tees it presents 2,791 yards of golf for a par of 34. The course was designed and opened in 1908.
